Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM•5:00 PM + every 4th Saturday (8:30 AM•12:30 PM)

Compensation:

$22•28/hour, depending on experience Winters Recreation is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Service Technician to join our growing service team. In this role, you will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of small engine equipment, including golf carts (gas and electric), ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles. This position offers a strong mix of hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and variety-no two days are the same, and each project brings new challenges and learning opportunities. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, completing preventative maintenance, and ensuring all equipment is operating at peak performance. You will also support battery maintenance and replacements (acid, AGM, lithium), along with basic electrical programming and system diagnostics. Technicians are expected to maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace while consistently delivering high-quality, detail-oriented work. Company-provided tools help set you up for success and efficiency from day one. This position is primarily based in the shop, with potential future opportunities to travel as we expand into mobile, on-site service throughout Minnesota, including residential locations and golf courses. Candidates should be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively with team members to meet timelines and customer expectations. Strong time management, attention to detail, and a proactive, solution-focused mindset are essential for success. We're looking for someone with solid mechanical aptitude who is eager to learn and adapt as technology continues to evolve-especially within electric-powered equipment. Clear communication is key, as you will interact with customers to explain findings, completed work, and recommended next steps.
