You will act as a versatile technical expert, bridging the gap between high-precision installations and complex diagnostic service work. Impact:
Execute high-quality installations and service repairs on residential HVAC systems including hydronics and mini-splits. Diagnose complex mechanical failures and provide effective, long-term solutions that enhance home comfort and efficiency. Communicate technical options clearly to homeowners, guiding them toward the best system upgrades for their specific needs. Utilize ServiceTitan software to manage work orders, document project progress, and maintain accurate client records. Collaborate with the "Home Solutions" team to ensure every installation meets the high standards of a professional craftsman. Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections to prolong the lifespan of diverse residential mechanical systems. Mentor junior team members by demonstrating proper technical workflows and advanced troubleshooting techniques in the field.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in residential HVAC service or installation. Proven proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of residential mechanical equipment. Valid Driver's License, insurable, and a commitment to maintaining a professional onsite presence. Ability to physically navigate residential job sites, including attics, crawlspaces, and exterior units. Strong verbal communication skills with a focus on client education and satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Advanced experience operating within the ServiceTitan software platform. Demonstrated "hybrid" capability with equal proficiency in both complex service diagnostics and full system installations. Specialized knowledge of properly designed hydronic systems and high-efficiency ductwork. NATE Certification. Previous experience in a consultative service role involving direct client interaction and option-based selling.
