Our team thrives on creativity, precision, and collaboration. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Sewing Room Assistant to support our production team. This role is ideal for someone with basic sewing skills who enjoys hands-on work and contributing to the creation of large-scale event materials such as banners, backdrops, and fabric displays. Key Responsibilities Assist in the cutting, measuring, and preparation of fabrics and materials Operate industrial sewing machines (training provided if needed) Perform basic sewing tasks such as hemming, stitching, and finishing edges Support installation prep including labeling, folding, and packaging finished products Maintain organization and cleanliness of the sewing area Assist with inventory of fabrics, thread, and sewing supplies Work closely with production leads to meet deadlines and quality standards Qualifications Ability to use measuring tools and read blueprint/orders Basic sewing knowledge (home or professional experience welcome) Ability to use or willingness to learn industrial sewing equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team Comfortable working in a production/shop environment Ability to lift up to 30-40 lbs and stand for extended periods
