Shannon Center Clerical - Summer Student Employment

The Shannon Center Clerical student worker position is responsible for providing a welcoming, clean, and safe environment for all users of the University's athletic facility, including students, faculty, staff, and community members. This role supports the day-to-day operations of the fitness center and promotes a positive experience for all guests. Greet all patrons upon entry and verify membership status Monitor access and ensure all users are following facility policies and guidelines Provide general information about equipment, programs, special events, and membership options Assist with basic cleaning and sanitization of equipment and facility areas Report any maintenance or safety issues to manager. Enforce rules in a respectful and professional manner Assist with set up or take down for special programs and events Assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned Answer phone and take notes as needed

MUST BE A STUDENT AT SAINT XAVIER UNIVERSITY

Must be Federal Work Study Eligible Must Include a Resume and Cover Letter Must be a currently enrolled college student Friendly, approachable, and customer service-oriented Ability to work independently and take initiative Strong communication and interpersonal skills Punctual and reliable CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred Knowledge of fitness equipment and safety procedures is a plus We inspire success by working together to provide meaningful, personalized service in a spirit of excellence.
