Job description Customer Service Associate Shift Lead •Weekends are required for this position•The Liquor Well Inc. is a locally owned Liquor & General Store, and we are hiring immediately for a reliable Shift Lead to assist our customers and staff! The ideal candidate will handle cashier duties and provide excellent service to all customers throughout the store. Shift Leaders are trained to perform all of the duties performed by cashiers, with an additional responsibility to direct the daily operations of a store in the absence of the Manager and Assistant Manager(s). The Shift Lead will ensure compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including product stocking and rotation, customer relations, store maintenance, team management and other duties as required or assigned. The Shift Lead is also responsible for dealing with no-shows, delegating tasks and reporting any issues to the Manager or Assistant Manager(s).

Paid Time Off (PTO) Employee Discount (10%, non-alcohol) Shift Schedule 4, 10 hr shifts Friday- Monday 5pm - 4am Duties Excel in performing all cashier tasks, including stocking, rotation, customer service, operating the register and janitorial duties. Provide prompt, efficient and courteous customer service to customers, vendors and staff. Lead team members and direct all daily operations of the store in the absence of both the Manager and Assistant Manager(s), including supervising employees and completing all daily tasks. Supervise and manage multiple employees and assign duties, monitor performance and ensure tasks are performed efficiently. Provide proper training in all areas of the store, including janitorial duties, rotation, register use, etc., in the absence of the Manager and Assistance Manager(s). Ensure the store is up to company standards in regard to cleanliness, neatness and customer accessibility. Use the company cash register efficiently and accurately, as well as make accurate deposits into the safe in a safe and timely manner. Motivate and coach team members to complete the tasks efficiently and properly and remind staff to stay on task and remain busy. Handle customer issues and employee disputes professionally. If needed, contacting upper management to deal with the situation. Report any issues or concerns during their shift to the Manager or Assistant Manager(s). Communicate professionally and openly with Store Manager, Assistant Manager(s), other Shift Lead(s) and Owners. Ensure employees are abiding to company policies and safety standards. Adhere to all local, state and federal regulations. Complete all other duties as assigned by management. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years of age to sell Alcohol & Tobacco, according to the State of Alaska Alcohol & Tobacco Laws Successfully complete the three hour Training for Alcohol Professionals Class "TAP" 1-2 years customer service experience High School diploma or equivalent preferred 1-2 years of Shift Lead, or similar role, experience in a retail environment preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong leadership and organizational skills Frequent lifting up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds Stand for long periods of time, up to 10 hours Problem solver Positive Team player
