Principle ResponsibilitiesStudies shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping schedules, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and ratesOversees outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipmentsDetermines space requirements and position of shipment in trucks and lays out the position of shipmentInspects loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specificationsInspects material handling equipment for defects and notifies maintenance personnel or contacts outside service facility for repairDirects movement of shipments from the shipping platform to storage and work areasIssues written and oral instructionsStudies and standardizes procedures to improve the efficiency of subordinatesMaintains harmony among workers and resolves grievancesPrepares composite reports from individual reports of subordinatesAdjusts errors and complaintsUnderstands and applies Company policies and proceduresMaintain good housekeeping in the area and adhere to established Company safety policies at all times.

Education/Experience:
