Shipping and Receiving Clerk Job Description The Receiving Clerk role involves matching purchase orders with the products received, counting and labeling items, and designating them to the appropriate site. Each item is then scanned into a container, such as a pallet, to ensure timely shipment. The position requires the use of a pallet jack or forklift to move products and involves entering data such as inventory and part numbers into the computer. Responsibilities Match purchase orders against the products physically received. Count and label products for site designation. Scan items into containers for timely shipment. Utilize pallet jack or forklift to move products. Enter inventory and part numbers into computer systems. Essential Skills 2+ years of shipping and/or receiving experience. Strong computer skills. High attention to detail and counting ability. Experience with forklifts, inventory control, and pallet jacks. Ability to perform cycle counts and use RF scanners. Work Environment The work environment involves delivering critical e-fulfillment warehouse implementation services. The role requires wearing steel-toed shoes and jeans. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with potential overtime communicated in advance. The facility focuses on providing maximum site efficiencies through various services, including design consultation and technical integration. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Hartford, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
