Job Title:
Shipping and Receiving / Forklift Operator Salary $21.00 an hour Job Type Full-time Shift and Schedule 8:00 AM•5:00 PM Monday to Friday Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving / Forklift Operator to join our team. This role combines hands-on equipment operation with logistics execution. You will be responsible for operating a forklift to move materials, preparing and processing all shipments, managing customer portals, handling labels, and organizing transportation logistics-including domestic, international, NPI, and sample shipments. Key Responsibilities Forklift & Material Handling:
Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, move, and stage materials and shipments.
Shipment Preparation:
Prepare and process shipments for pickup and delivery; verify order details and specific shipping instructions.
Portal Management:
Upload shipping information to customer portals, maintain data accuracy, and promptly resolve any discrepancies.
Labeling & Documentation:
Print, manage, and organize shipping labels in compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. Prepare Bill of Lading (BOL), packing lists, and other essential paperwork.
Logistics Coordination:
Book trucks for outbound shipments, schedule driver pickups, and coordinate distribution routes.
Carrier Communication:
Communicate directly with carriers and drivers to ensure timely pickups/deliveries.
Parcel Shipping:
Prepare, book, track, and manage FedEx and UPS shipments, resolving any issues directly with carrier customer service.
International Logistics:
Process and coordinate international orders, including managing export documentation and customs requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Liaise with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams to provide real-time shipment updates and resolve issues quickly.
