Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our dynamic warehouse team. Duties Safely load and unload shipments using equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements accurately Prepare packages for shipment by selecting appropriate packaging materials and ensuring proper labeling Pick, pack, and process customer orders efficiently to meet delivery deadlines Stock shelves and organize warehouse storage areas to optimize space and accessibility Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems like AS400 Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by adhering to safety protocols Qualifications Previous warehouse experience with a strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for inventory tracking Valid forklift certification; experience operating reach trucks and pallet jacks preferred Knowledge of order fulfillment procedures including picking & packing, order picking, and stock replenishment Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately Familiarity with e-commerce logistics workflows and packaging standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist where your expertise will drive operational excellence!
