Job Description

General Overview:
Will handle the preparation, shipping, and storage of all manufactured products. This position requires on-site presence and regular attendance to perform the essential duties.
Responsibilities:
Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Stamps, stencils or affixes shipping labels with identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers, and prepares for shipment. Posts weight and container information on the shipping paper and turn in to shipping clerks. Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications. Operates forklift, pallet truck, and/or dolly to move, convey, or hoist shipments to the shipping area. Aids in loading and ensures proper/safe leading and preparation before the shipment leaves the premises. Complies with safety and quality policies and procedures. Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within. Other duties as assigned. Work Environment /
Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee frequently handles packaged/boxed explosives, explosive articles, and/or explosive powders and pellets. This may also involve instructing others in the proper handling, use, storage, and transportation of these explosives. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee frequently works with powders, sometimes in a dusty environment and occasionally around fumes. Workers must not be overly sensitive (allergies, rashes, etc.) to working in these conditions. While rare, any accident could be catastrophic and potentially result in injury or death to many employees.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, and activate tools or controls, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, climb or balance; and twist, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move from 80 to 100 pounds using the appropriate equipment. Specific vision abilities that are required by this job include: close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. These vision requirements relate to obtaining a valid driver's license and recognizing current Hazmat warning labels or markings that are color coded.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
A. Education and Training High school diploma or the equivalent is required. B. General Requirements One (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Warehouse shipping experience is a plus. Must possess good organizational and leadership skills and be familiar with Hunting Titan part numbers used and shipping policy and procedure. Able to recognize and be discreet with sensitive financial, personnel, and other business-related information. Able to work with people in a professional way to accomplish the tasks assigned to this position. C. Technical Requirements / Skills Able to interface with both technical and non-technical personnel. Able to provide improvement to processes as required. Able to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Able to read, understand, learn and follow written and verbal safety, quality and work instructions. D. Certificates, Licenses & Registrations Must have a valid driver's license and record that conforms to company's insurance policies, ATF, DOT, and State of other required Hazmat training. Must meet Hunting Titan/OSHA fork truck driver license requirements. E. Work Authorization /
Security Clearance:
