opportunity. The Shipping Clerk plays a pivotal role in managing warehouse operations, ensuring efficient material handling, and maintaining accurate shipping documentation. This position offers leadership opportunities and involves a variety of tasks including unloading, transporting, storing, recording, retrieving, and loading materials throughout the plant. The coordinator also assists with shipping and recycling duties. Responsibilities Operate all warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including balers, lift trucks, walkie riders, battery chargers, forklifts, and shrink wrappers. Receive and load raw materials, finished goods, work-in-process, and mail in accordance with established processes. Accurately transport, store, record, and retrieve all materials. Possess complete knowledge of the Parts Inventory System. Read and understand job tickets, manifests, and production schedules. Collect, shred, band, and load paper materials, cardboard, and other recyclable materials. Communicate with machine operators regarding work-in-progress and finished goods inventory needs. Train warehouse personnel and provide clear directions to Material Handler II employees to assist the department manager in meeting workload demands. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly Total Productive Maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance. Adhere to all quality and safety policies and procedures. Essential Skills Forklift Operation - Ideally Sit-Down & Standup (Training available on Clamp Trucks) Strong Inventory and Shipping Background Leadership Skills Material handling RF scanner Sit down forklift Pallet jack Clamp forklift Stand up forklift Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montgomery, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
