Shipping Clerk

Shipping Clerk duties and responsibilities

Shipping:

Prepare items for shipment by packaging, weighing, and labelling them. Arrange for transportation and coordinate with carriers using our shipping program.

Receiving:

Unload, sort, and stock incoming materials. Inspect deliveries for accuracy and damage, verifying against purchase orders.

Inventory and record-keeping:

Track, trace, and update the status of all incoming and outgoing shipments. Maintain accurate logs of inventory and record daily movements. Use computer systems to manage inventory.

Warehouse maintenance:

Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and orderly. Operate machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move goods. Qualifications and skills

Education:

A high school diploma or GED is typically required.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Computer proficiency. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work under pressure. Forklift experience Ability to lift over 50lbs

Pay:

$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
