Shipping Clerk

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join a growing flooring and building in Fostoria! In this vital position, you will be preparing outgoing shipments, receiving incoming deliveries, and ensuring accurate inventory levels are maintained. Responsibilities Process incoming and outgoing shipments Verify and distribute materials Organize and maintain stockroom inventory Schedule shipments and coordinate logistics to ensure proper storage and handling Maintain accurate record of goods received Prepare shipping and receiving reports for management Identify and resolve shipping, inventory, and customer issues Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards Operate forklift and pallet jacks to move material Package, label, and store material properly Other duties as needed Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of shipping, receiving, or logistics experience, and basic MS Office skills. Must also have knowledge of inventory control processes, strong math and organizational skills, and excellent time management skills. Strongly prefer candidates with prior forklift operation experience in a manufacturing environment.

Pay:

From $18.00 per hour
