Shipping Clerk/Material Handler

We are looking for a Shipping Clerk to help organize our storage areas and maintain our inventory. Your job will be to enter product into inventory. Process the paperwork for orders released for shipment and finalize the shipping and pick up of orders. You should have great attention to detail to maintain accurate records. Physical strength is required since you will lift packages by hand weighing 70-80 lbs rolls of fabric. If you're reliable and fast on your feet, we'd like to meet you. Responsibilities Load and packages Organize stock in the most efficient way using forklifts, pallets, check outgoing pick tickets Pull material to fulfill orders properly Wrap orders and place them on trucks for delivery Document orders, materials and any stock movements Skills Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate or similar position Experience in using warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks) Strong communication skills Dexterity and attention to detail Organizational skills Ability to meet the physical demands of the job Availability to occasionally work overtime High school diploma Microsoft word/excel
