Job Details:
Applicants will be considered for Material Handling Shipping Lead opening. The Lead will oversee the shipping area and keep overall productivity moving. The Lead will help train new hires, bid trainees and cross training. The Lead will help out in case of absenteeism. The Lead will fill in for personal breaks and emergencies. The Lead is there for guidance when the supervisor is not present. The Lead will communicate effectively in all aspects of communication; verbal, written and reading. Some examples, but not all inclusive are: giving verbal feedback to supervisors, other departments and co-workers; compiling paperwork at the end of the day, following the daily schedule; Bilingual skills a plus. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, lifting, pulling and reaching are required. These positions work in a cold environment and slippery surfaces.Requirements:
Successful candidates must have the knowledge to perform at least two jobs in the department. Team Member must be dependable, work well with others, self-motivated and willing to come in early and stay late, when necessary. Team Member must have less than 5 attendance points at the time of this posting and a good safety record (NO Safety suspensions) with in the last 12 months.Position specifics:
This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.Relocation Assistance Eligible:
