Job Description

Coordinates activities of incoming and outgoing shipments. Directs movement of shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas. Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. Examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, and records shortages. Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications. Incumbents may be matched to this position if they are responsible for one of the functions instead of both shipping and receiving. This position will ensure the shipping and/or receiving docks are organized, while managing, maintaining, and ensuring correct inventory. This position is also responsible for ensuring all shipped and/or received Monuments, and related products or items that are loaded/unloaded meet quality expectations.

This position will ensure the shipping and/or receiving docks are organized, while managing, maintaining, and ensuring correct inventory. This position is also responsible for ensuring all shipped and/or received Monuments, and related products or items that are loaded/unloaded meet quality expectations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure that all Monuments are properly inspected and prepared before shipment Responsible for general personal appearance, upkeep of all equipment, and facilities. This includes general housekeeping of the facility, sweeping, emptying trash, etc. Follow the delivery schedule set by the warehouse manager as required for the day's shipments are correctly labeled and the paperwork is complete and accurate. Consider safety first and comply with PPE requirements. Complete all necessary and required training in a timely manner as assigned. Other misc. duties as assigned by the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor. Shipping/Receiving of monuments and vaults. Forklift Operation Unloading / Loading of trucks Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
Education:
High School, GED, or equivalent is preferred

Requirements:
Forklift experience (2 years preferred)
