88/hr Advancement is based on demonstrated proficiency, reliability, and consistent performance. Position Overview This position reports to the Shipping or Receiving Foreman. Shipping & Receiving Specialists are responsible for accurately processing incoming and outgoing materials while maintaining productivity and high order accuracy standards. The role requires strong attention to detail while meeting daily shipping volume requirements. Essential Responsibilities Accurately pick and verify customer orders Read and confirm part numbers and quantities Use shipping and ERP systems daily Prepare labels and shipping documentation Assist with receiving and verifying incoming materials Operate electric pallet trucks (training provided) Operate forklifts if experienced (training available) Load, move, and stage materials as required Maintain organized, clean work areas Meet daily deadlines without sacrificing accuracy Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality Work safely and follow all company safety procedures Accuracy matters. Mistakes cost time and money, and careful work protects our customers and our reputation. Qualifications Comfortable using computers in a warehouse or manufacturing setting Strong reading comprehension and attention to detail Shipping and/or receiving experience preferred Willingness and ability to learn material-handling equipment safely Ability to lift up to 80 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movement throughout the shift Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable attendance and steady work habits This is a hands-on position in an active industrial production environment.
