Shipping Specialist

Job Title:

Shipping Specialist (1st Shift) ($19/hr.) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Specialist to join our team. This role involves working in the shipping department to ensure accurate and timely processing of orders. You will be responsible for picking, packing, shipping, loading, and unloading products efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail. We offer weekly pay with overtime paying time and a half. Apply Today! Responsibilities Pick, pack, and ship orders according to work orders. Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently. Lift boxes weighing up to 40 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. Use pallet jacks to move boxes within the warehouse. Check orders for accuracy and completeness. Break down and assemble boxes to fit orders. Complete work orders and check them off upon completion. Package small products with attention to detail. Tape boxes, apply pre-printed labels, and place them in designated crates. Utilize RF scanners to manage inventory and order processing. Essential Skills Previous warehouse or shipping experience. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Proficiency in reading work orders and packaging products accordingly. Strong visual inspection skills and attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with RF scanners and receiving in a warehouse setting is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a clean, temperature-controlled warehouse with a small team of five. The environment may have a slight odor similar to self-tanning products. Shift hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with potential extended hours until 5 pm and occasional mandatory half-day Saturdays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Macedonia, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
