USESI has an immediate opening for a 2nd Shift Distribution Supervisor to lead our Pick/Pack operation in our Cranbury, NJ Distribution Center. We are looking for a leader who can drive performance, elevate employee engagement, and deliver operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all safety objectives, facility standards, and housekeeping expectations. Deliver on internal and external customer service performance metrics; identify service risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Build and manage labor plans aligned with forecasted volume while controlling departmental costs. Execute and adjust daily work schedules based on operational throughput; ensure coordinated workflow across warehouse functions. Lead, coach, and develop team members across multiple functions—pick, pack, inbound, shipping, and production. Drive candidate selection, onboarding, training, and performance management, including corrective action when required. Conduct annual performance appraisals and recurring coaching sessions to reinforce accountability and growth. Model and reinforce USESI's core values: Employee Fulfillment, Excellence, Integrity, and Shared Vision. Identify process gaps and implement corrective actions; recommend improvements to workflow, layout, and cost efficiency. Support annual budget development and alignment with departmental objectives. Approve payroll entries, reconcile timekeeping, and ensure compliance with labor policies. Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements 4+ years of progressive leadership experience in a distribution or warehouse environment. High school diploma required; advanced education (STEP, ALPS, or degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field) preferred. Proven experience supervising multiple warehouse functions (receiving, production, packing, shipping). Strong leadership, communication, and conflict management capabilities. Ability to coach large teams, deliver feedback, and manage performance. Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and warehouse management systems (WMS). Ability to obtain forklift certification; prior experience operating PIT equipment (stand-up, cherry picker) preferred. Ability to lift, carry, and move 40-70 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally with or without accommodation.
