Shipping Unload GAPP - 1st Shift

Key Responsibilities:

Unload empty containers from incoming trucks. Pull labels of all containers and racks Sort containers and place in the correct location Keep warehouse organized by containers Verify all pallets are in the correct location Help with inventory as needed Support shipping and receiving associates Complete all assigned tasks safely, accurately, and on time Maintain assigned 5S areas including cleaning up work area and properly disposing of trash and recyclable materials Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

1+ years of experience in receiving, shipping, warehousing, or a related role, preferably in an automotive manufacturing environment. Basic knowledge of inventory management systems, ERP software, and warehouse operations. Ability to operate forklifts, yard truck, and other material handling equipment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic math and data entry skills to record and verify shipment information. Ability to read and interpret packing slips, bills of lading, and purchase orders. Strong communication skills

Work Environment:

Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and various materials. Requires standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Full-time, with potential for overtime based on production needs. Shifts may include days, evenings, or weekends.
