Shipping/Packer Shipping/Packers prepare finished products for packaging, loading, and shipment. Responsibilities include verifying that items are complete, securely packaging them according to company standards, and loading products onto pallets or trailers for delivery.

Friday Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Read and follow the shipping schedule to determine items to be moved, gathered, or repacked. Move materials and finished products from production areas to storage or designated shipping areas. Sort, organize, and place items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to size, type, or product code. Assemble customer orders from stock and prepare them for shipment. Package, wrap, and label materials according to customer or company requirements. Load and secure shipments safely onto pallets, trucks, or trailers. Record quantities of materials received, packed, or distributed. Enter shipment data accurately into the computer system. Open and inspect bales, crates, and containers as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in shipping, packing, or warehouse operations is a plus. Must be able to work overtime as needed. Must pass a drug screen and background check. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated and dependable with strong attention to detail.

Physical Demands:

Regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds. Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds. Occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds with assistance. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist for extended periods. Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment safely.
