Shipping/Receiving Associate

City Home is seeking an experienced Warehouse associate for our retail furniture store. Our Warehouse team is responsible for receiving inventory, moving furniture, assembling furniture, packing items to be shipped or delivered, and many other tasks. Potential candidates should be self-motivated and organized.

Full-time Responsibilities:

Ability to move and lift 75+ pounds. Valid drivers license Unload trucks, Receive and assemble furniture shipments. Drive box van to our additional store locations for stock transfers Quality check all incoming inventory and outgoing purchases. Assist our sales team and floor merchandisers by moving furniture and hanging lighting as necessary. Help customers safely load furniture into their vehicles. Safely pack items to be shipped. Actively participate in store meetings and training sessions.

Required skills and experience:

Furniture assembly Previous warehouse and/or shipping & receiving experience necessary. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to follow instructions, work independently, and in groups. Must know how to safely lift and move delicate furniture. Basic hand tool and power tool knowledge. Previous experience / knowledge operating equipment including a pallet-jack and dollies Customer service experience. Basic furniture knowledge. Shipping, Packaging of customer E-Commerce orders via
