Position Title:
Shop Foreman 2.0
Nature & Objective:
Maintain equipment for safe operation in accordance with applicable DOT rules and regulations. Working environment in office and on shop floor. Minimal travel as needed. 3.0 Reports to: Regional Maintenance Supervisor•for maintenance Terminal Manager•for daily operations 4.0
Position Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED Minimum 3 years of experience in Maintenance and Repair. CDL/A preferred DOT Tanker maintenance experience preferred Good communication and organizational skills Good computer skills (Microsoft office) Strong analytical and problem•solving skills 5.0 Responsibilities include the following: Responsible for overall shop and terminal compliance of applicable State, Local, and Federal regulations. Responsible for condition of terminal rolling stock. Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and professional work environment. Supervise maintenance mechanics at multiple trucking terminals. Ensure proper PPE for maintenance personnel. Keep track of maintenance needs via computer systems.
