Job Description

Job Overview Auto Computer Specialist is looking for a motivated and dependable Shop Hand to join our growing automotive electronics company. This is not just a "sweep the floor and disappear into the void" position — we are looking for someone who wants to learn, grow, and become a key part of the operation over time. The right candidate will assist with daily shop operations, ECU handling and disassembly, wire harness restoration, shipping/receiving, and general automotive support tasks. On-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate willing to learn and grow within the company. As the company continues to expand, there is strong potential to grow into an Outside Shop Manager role over time. We work hard, stay busy, and still know how to keep the atmosphere positive — because nobody wants to spend 40+ hours a week somewhere that feels like a DMV waiting room. Responsibilities Opening and closing ECUs, PCMs, TCMs, and other automotive modules Basic wire harness restoration and repair assistance Shop organization and inventory management Shipping and receiving duties Assisting technicians with daily operations Cleaning and maintaining work areas Moving vehicles and parts as needed Opening and closing shop procedures Managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Working independently when required Requirements Basic automotive knowledge required Comfortable using basic hand tools and power tools Self-motivated with strong work ethic Able to multitask and stay organized Ability to work independently without constant supervision Reliable transportation and punctuality required Willingness to learn automotive electronics and diagnostics Positive attitude and ambition to grow with the company Preferred (Not Required) Experience with automotive repair or electronics Soldering experience Wire repair or harness repair experience Experience in a shop environment What We Offer On-the-job training and skill development Fun, family-oriented work environment Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding company Hands-on experience with automotive electronics and module repair Advancement opportunities into management roles Team-oriented environment Stable full-time work Pay based on experience and ability.
