Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment Diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs safely and efficiently Conduct preventative maintenance inspections Maintain accurate service and repair records Follow all safety and shop proceduresPreferred Qualifications:
Mechanical experience (fleet, diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment preferred) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license required Basic diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Education and Experience Proven experience as auto mechanic Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods Ability to handle various tools (e.g., pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g., lift) Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc. Excellent physical condition High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred.Work authorization requirements:
