Shop Support-Carpentry & CNC specialist

Overview We're seeking a dependable Shop Support team member to assist the Carpentry & CNC Departments within our custom fabrication shop. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is comfortable with tools, and can support carpenters in preparing, handling, and moving materials for production. Responsibilities Support carpenters & CNC department with material handling, staging, and workstation setup Sand wood components using hand and power tools Work with table saws, chop saws and routers Assist in assembling carpentry items Load and operate the CNC machine, labeling all pieces according to plans Assist with basic wood prep tasks as directed by carpentry lead Move, organize, and stock lumber, sheet goods, hardware, and supplies Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas Wrap, pack, load, and unload materials and finished pieces Follow direction from shop leads and the production manager Occasional travel to job sites for additional support Other assigned duties as shop needs require Requirements Experience in a carpentry, fabrication, construction, or shop environment CNC machine operator experience is a plus Comfortable using tools, measuring, and performing physical tasks Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team‑first attitude Ability to lift 50+ lbs safely Willingness to learn new skills and adapt as priorities shift US Work Authorization Valid US driver's license What We Offer Paid sick and personal time A fast‑growing, startup‑style environment with opportunities to learn new skills Hands‑on work with creative, custom fabrication projects A supportive team culture and clear direction from shop leadership
