Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabrication, welding, and mechanical assembly, with a strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and safety standards. This role involves working on diverse projects that require precision fabrication and assembly of metal components, primarily within construction and manufacturing environments. The Fabricator will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of fabricated parts used in various applications, including ductwork, piping, and structural components. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine specifications for fabrication projects Operate various power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components Perform
MIG, TIG, FCAW
welding, and plasma cutting according to industry standards such as ASME codes & standards Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate fabrication Work with sheet metal, ductwork, piping, and other materials to produce components that meet project specifications Utilize press brake machines and other machinery for bending and forming metal parts Conduct rigging and mechanical assembly tasks using appropriate techniques and safety protocols Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety guidelines on construction sites or manufacturing floors Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work or manufacturing environments involving fabrication Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, plasma cutting, and sheet metal work Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, and machining equipment Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication processes Mechanical knowledge including pipe threading, soldering, machining, and assembly techniques Experience operating forklifts is a plus but not mandatory Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations involved in fabrication tasks Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments such as construction sites or manufacturing facilities This position offers an opportunity to contribute to diverse projects requiring precision craftsmanship.
