Short Term Process Writer

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and comprehensive process documentation to support various operations. Your technical writing expertise will ensure that complex procedures are communicated effectively, enabling teams to execute tasks efficiently and accurately. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to process improvements and streamline workflows across Our bakery. This position is short term and should last no more then 6 weeks Responsibilities Watch and learn how every part of our bakery works — baking, packaging, cleaning, opening and closing, taking orders, managing inventory, and more Talk with our staff to learn the steps they follow every day, including things that aren't written down anywhere Look for steps that are missing, unclear, or done differently by different people Write clear, numbered instructions for each process in simple language anyone can follow Create checklists and any visual aids that help explain the steps Put all the finished documents together into one organized manual Skills Strong editing skills with an eye for detail to ensure high-quality documentation. Expertise in technical writing, including creating clear instructions and procedural content. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience in proofreading to eliminate errors and improve readability of documents. Solid research skills to gather accurate information and validate process steps. Competency in word processing applications such as Microsoft Word for document creation and management. Pay:

$16.00 - $22.00 per hour Application Question(s): You watch a task get done twice in one day and notice one step happens in a different order the second time. What do you write down?
