Shred Driver

As a Shred Driver for Phoenix Recycling, you will provide secure document destruction services to businesses in La Plata County. You will provide our customers with the highest level of service, professionalism, and security as you run a route of regular customers that you get to know and serving one-time customers that need to clear out old documents. Once trained, you will work independently to safely and securely collect and transfer paper documents to the truck where they are loaded and shredded on-site. The successful applicant will have a professional appearance, provide excellent customer service, drive safely and courteously, and pay close attention to detail. All Shred Drivers must pass a criminal background check, a pre-employment drug test, be able to obtain a DOT medical card, be able to lift 100 pounds occasionally, be able to lift 50 pounds frequently, and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving history. The Shred Driver position does not require a CDL and starts at $21/hr. It is a part-time year-round position that operates every Tuesday and Thursday and some Wednesdays as needed.
