Duties Measure, cut, and install various types of siding materials, including vinyl, fiber cement, and stucco, ensuring proper fit and finish. Install windows of different sizes and styles according to schematics and blueprints, maintaining high standards of quality. Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, levels, and caulking guns to complete installations efficiently. Operate power tools safely for cutting, fastening, and finishing siding and window components. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute installation plans. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to safety protocols on the construction site. Conduct minor repairs or adjustments during installation to ensure optimal performance and appearance. Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on siding or window installation preferred. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics, and fabrication techniques. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, roofing equipment, and masonry tools as needed. Familiarity with related trades such as carpentry, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, stucco application, masonry, plumbing, welding, tile laying, restoration work, concrete forming or remodeling is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights when necessary. Knowledge of caulking techniques for weatherproofing and trim carpentry skills for finishing touches. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship. Valid construction or trade certification is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
