Sign Installer & Assembler

Our busy shop is looking for someone to assist in the installation and fabrication of signs (GO

TO SERIANNI SIGNS ON FACEBOOK TO SEE COMPLETION OF WORK IN PHOTOS

), with a focus mainly on installations. Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, a valid, clean, NYS drivers license. Must be able to use power tools and proficient in reading measurements/math. You will be responsible for installation of storefront signage. Must be able to work on ladders or a man lift at heights up to 40ft, and times, work outside in the cold and heat. Physicality like, digging holes, lifting signs, raking, shoveling, moving heavy objects, etc., is part of the job at times. Must be willing to work flexible hours Must be willing to travel roughly within a 5 hour range, but mostly within 2 hours. At times, overnights are required. Must be willing to take constructive criticism. Experience in carpentry, masonry, painting, basic electric a plus We will provide training specific to the trade. Pay is negotiable based on experience. Read measurements to 1/16 of an inch. Experience in laying vinyl graphics a plus Able to lift 75-100 lbs or more with help, 50lbs alone Must be able to problem solve Self-motivated/Self-starter Can work alone and in group settings Must be able to work with deadlines Knowledge in painting/sanding materials Knowledgeable with squares/straight edges/rulers
