We are a state licensed electrical contractor, large volume location, operating for over 24 years serving both local and national clients with a variety of signage needs. We're looking for a highly organized, client‑focused Signage Project Manager to guide projects from the initial consultation through final installation—delivering exceptional customer experiences and on‑time, on‑budget results. Position Overview The Signage Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of signage projects—from the first customer interaction through discovery, estimating, production, permitting, installation, and completion. This role works closely with customers, internal production teams, outside vendors, installers, and permitting authorities to ensure smooth execution, clear communication, and successful project outcomes. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of signage projects across various commercial and institutional settings. Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Consultation & Discovery Conduct initial consultations to understand customer goals, brand requirements, timelines, and budget. Perform or coordinate site surveys and code checks to determine feasibility, compliance, and design constraints. Recommend appropriate signage products, materials, and installation methods. Estimating & Proposal Development Create accurate, detailed estimates based on discovery findings, materials, labor, and vendor pricing. Draft clear proposals outlining scope, deliverables, timelines, and cost breakdowns. Assist the sales process by advising on project feasibility and helping refine customer expectations. Project Management & Coordination Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders—including customers, vendors, installers, inspectors, and internal teams. Develop and manage detailed project schedules to meet target deadlines. Coordinate in‑house production, outsourced fabrication, and installation logistics. Manage permitting workflow, ensuring applications, revisions, and approvals are completed on time. Execution & Quality Control Track progress of all active projects, ensuring milestones are met and issues are resolved quickly. Proactively identify and prevent scope creep through clear communication and change‑order management. Perform final quality checks and ensure installations meet or exceed customer expectations. Close out projects with proper documentation, billing support, and customer follow‑up. Qualifications 2-5+ years of experience in signage, print, construction, or related project management field. Strong understanding of signage materials, fabrication processes, and installation methods (preferred). Experience conducting site surveys, reviewing municipal codes, and working with our permit expeditor to manage permits. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Exceptional communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail. Ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse teams, vendors, and clients. Proficiency with project management tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office/365.
