Shift Information:

Applicants for this particular position will work 9pm-7pm. While the shift with the client is a 10 hour shift, there will be 2 additional hours of pay per shift as our Travel Pay Benefit. Travel Pay Benefit is available only for staff with current automobile insurance. Two people will be hired. One person will work Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and another will work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. This schedule will run from May 29th until mid August. There is the potential for additional shifts in Northern Door County after that time frame.

Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Bring your cheerful personality to our clients!

Responsibilities:

Provide patient observation and monitoring to ensure the well-being of clients. Support clients with mobility challenges, including the use of Hoyer lifts and sit to stand equipment. Get to know our clients and build a strong companionship relationship with them! We play cards and games with them, listen to their life stories, give medication reminders, hygiene reminders, and much more. We play cards, make puzzles with them and focus on creating a strong companionship relationship with them. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or assisted living environments is required. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is a plus. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality. Ability to perform lifting of approximately 30+ lbs Excellent attendance is required. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others in their daily lives. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in nursing or social work is beneficial. Hoyer lift experience a plus-we will provide any additional necessary training.

Pay:

$20.00 per hour
