Site Superintendent Custom Home Builder - 3.6 Westport, CT Job Details Full-time $80,000 - $120,000 a year 15 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Qualifications Teamwork Bluebeam Construction cost control Supplier management OSHA 30 Construction budget management Estimating construction project budgets ProCore Working on construction estimation projects Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion for custom homes and large-scale renovations throughout Fairfield County, CT & Westchester County, NY. This pivotal role involves managing daily site operations, coordinating with multiple teams, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with construction management software to drive project success and uphold quality standards. Will work collaboratively with the Project Manager to develop trade scopes and overall project budget and schedule. Duties Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring work progresses according to schedule, plans, and specifications. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth operations and resolve issues promptly. Implement and enforce safety protocols. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide onsite activities accurately. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and other tools to develop project schedules, track progress, and manage budgets effectively. Oversee quality control measures by inspecting work for adherence to standards, schematics, and contract requirements. Manage project documentation including daily reports, incident reports, change orders, and logs for inbound/outbound materials. Supervise subcontractors and labor teams to ensure productivity while maintaining a safe work environment. Monitor project budgets and assist in construction estimating processes to stay within financial targets. Conduct regular site meetings to communicate progress updates, and upcoming tasks. Experience Proven management experience in residential or commercial construction projects with a strong background in supervising onsite teams. Extensive construction site experience, including familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating. Brings a positive, constructive, solution-focused mindset to the team. OSHA 30 certification is a plus but not required. Familiarity with construction management software is preferred but not required. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams while fostering a collaborative environment. Knowledge of quality control procedures and use of tools is advantageous. Familiarity with the management of budgets, construction estimating processes, and contract administration is essential for success in this role. Monday - Friday, 7am-5pm
Location:
Fairfield County, CT & Westchester County, NY Salary range is estimated and will be finalized based on qualifications and experience. •
