Job Summary Job Summary The job of Site Technology Support Specialist was established for the purpose/s of providing computer technology support; serve as the initial and primary point of contact for site clients and users; provides first-level technical support and escalation to high-level technical support services for the operation and use of district computers/laptops, software/online applications, peripheral equipment, user support, standard operating software; identifies, diagnoses, supports and provides level one problem resolution for users, personal computers, software, hardware, network connectivity/Internet, new technology, tech ticket system, and/or on-site environment. Communicates solutions to end users in-person, over the phone, via e-mail for District approved PC hardware and software, and performs related duties as assigned under the District Information Technology Department Management. High School Diploma or equivalent or higher educational degree: A.A./A.S., etc. , please be prepared to present if selected for a position. Passing score on a written examination. Exams are computerized and held at District Office in 29 Palms.
