Skilled Cabinet Maker

Mack Custom Woodworking is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker for a full-time position in our Shokan shop. We are looking for a craftsman who takes ownership and pride of their projects and maintains a high standard of precision from the first cut to the final assembly. The Role This is a shop-based position reporting directly to the Shop Foreman. You will be responsible for the fabrication of architectural millwork and custom cabinetry.

Key Responsibilities Fabrication:

Build custom cabinetry and millwork units from start to finish.

Cut Lists:

Interpret shop drawings to generate your own accurate cut lists and material requirements.

Machining:

Proficient and safe operation of all standard shop machinery (table saws, shapers, planers, etc.).

Assembly:

Full assembly of units, including hardware integration and dry-fitting as required.

Organization:

Maintain a clean, efficient workbench and contribute to the overall safety of the shop.

Qualifications Professional Experience:

Proven background in custom cabinetry or millwork.

Technical Skill:

Ability to read and work from complex architectural shop drawings.

Physical Ability:

Regularly lift and move millwork (mostly 10-50 lbs; occasionally upwards of 80 lbs).

Reliability:

Consistent attendance for a 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM shift is mandatory.

Compensation & Benefits Pay:

Starting at $28.00/hr (Rate commensurate with experience).
