Role:

As a Skilled Carpenter, you will work alongside experienced crews on a variety of heavy civil and commercial construction projects. Responsibilities include concrete forming, framing, blueprint reading, and general carpentry work on active construction sites.

Projects may include:

Concrete foundations Bridge construction Retaining walls Pump station buildings Heavy civil and commercial construction projects

Key Responsibilities:

Build and set concrete forms Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings Perform framing, forming, and general carpentry work Safely operate hand and power tools Work efficiently with crew members on active job sites Maintain strong safety and quality standards

Qualifications:

Carpentry and construction experience required Concrete forming experience preferred OSHA 10 certification preferred Valid driver's license required Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Work is performed outdoors on active construction job sites in varying weather conditions Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting required. Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and tools as needed Must be comfortable working around heavy equipment and active construction operations Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required at all times on job sites Ability to safely perform physically demanding work throughout the day Why Join J.L.
