Skilled Construction Field Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Skilled Construction Field Technician to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of on-site construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your expertise in various construction trades and ability to read blueprints and schematics will be essential in delivering quality results. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from remodeling and restoration to new builds, while honing your skills across multiple construction disciplines. Responsibilities Perform construction activities including framing, drywall installation, roofing, masonry, flooring, tile laying, and concrete finishing with precision and adherence to project specifications. Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and effectively on-site. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans. Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and quality benchmarks. Assist with construction management tasks such as estimating materials, scheduling work sequences, and coordinating subcontractors. Execute specialized tasks like plumbing installation, electrical wiring, caulking, plastering, glass installation, cabinet fitting, door hanging, and trim carpentry. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while documenting progress through reports and logs. Experience Proven experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of various trades including carpentry, masonry, roofing, electrical work, plumbing, and restoration projects. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Hands-on experience operating power tools, heavy equipment (such as forklifts or excavators), and hand tools safely. Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction site operations and OSHA standards is essential. Prior involvement in remodeling or renovation projects is a "must have". Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs. Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
