Employees:
Physical demands of the job require a person to be able to: lift loads up to 70 lbs., navigate construction job site terrain, regularly sit, stand, walk, and bend throughout their shift. Perform daily routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment. Recognizing and applying safe practices and procedures when involved in all field work. Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with others both internally and externally to help achieve the goals of the organization. Reliable transportation, as jobsite locations will be subject to change. Willing to work outside exposed to the heat and inclement weather conditions. Willing to work 10-12 hour shifts when needed, and occasionally on weekends. Cell phone with texting and internet capabilities, as this will be a primary means to communicate and track your time while in the field. Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in policies and procedures manual, and OSHA guidelines. Qualifications for
Heavy Machine Operators:
MUST have three years of experience operating heavy machinery in a construction environment. Preferably, experience with a track hoe, dozer, skid steer, and track loader. Must have a valid Kansas Driver's License, additionally the applicant must pass an Motor Vehicle Records check. Must have the ability to communicate clearly, listen, and understand information through spoken words and sentences to ensure full comprehension of job duties, safety regulations, and other situations that may require an immediate response. Working knowledge of materials, construction methodology, and the tools involved in the construction, grading, structure fills, slip repair, etc. Driving safely at all times surrounded by unpredictable field conditions, continuously moving vehicles, equipment and adverse weather conditions.
