Carpenter apprentice Auburn, ME | Contract-to-Hire | $20 - $25/hr We're seeking a reliable and motivated carpenter/ Carpenter Apprentice to support an active construction project in Auburn, Maine. What You'll Be Doing As a Carpenter Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced carpenters and assist with a variety of construction tasks: Assist with framing, measuring, cutting, and installing wood and other building materials Support the installation of structures such as walls, floors, ceilings, and frameworks Help set up and dismantle forms, scaffolding, and temporary structures Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Perform site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work area Follow all job site safety procedures and guidelines What We're Looking For Required Skills & Experience 1-2 years of experience in construction or carpentry Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools Ability to read measurements and use measuring tools accurately Comfortable performing physical labor in varying weather conditions Dependable, safety‑minded, and eager to learn Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude Preferred Qualifications Previous carpentry or woodworking experience Experience with framing, trim work, or finish carpentry Ability to read blueprints or construction drawings OSHA certification or other safety training is a plus Why Work With Us? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, ME. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
