This opportunity is ideal for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists who excel in a school setting near Redwood City, CA. Multiple positions are available to serve a range of caseloads, each focused on moderate to severe needs. You'll collaborate closely with school staff and families to help unlock each student's potential.
Desired Qualifications:
Active and valid SLP licensure for California schools Background in providing therapy within an educational setting Experience supporting students with moderate to severe needs (preschool, elementary, and/or middle school levels) Familiarity with IEP development, progress reporting, and collaborative team meetings Strong communication and organizational abilities Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and empowering learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluation Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals Consult with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to integrate therapy into the broader school day Engage with families to provide updates, resources, and support strategies Maintain accurate records and comply with all reporting requirements Enjoy the stability of a full-time schedule for the duration of the school year, working on a dedicated team with four open roles: one caseload serving preschoolers, two at the elementary level, and one at the middle school level—all focusing on students with moderate to severe special needs.
