Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Skilled Tradesman to join our painting and remodeling team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of specialized trades, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your expertise in carpentry, blueprint reading, and various trade skills will be essential in delivering exceptional results across diverse projects including remodeling, restoration, and new construction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your craftsmanship and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment that values quality and precision. Responsibilities Perform detailed carpentry work including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and cabinet installation with accuracy and attention to detail. Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively to complete construction tasks. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution. Execute concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, stucco application, and tile laying to meet project specifications. Install fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, and electrical components while adhering to safety standards. Conduct restoration tasks including water damage remediation, mold remediation, plastering, water damage restoration, and general renovation work. Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure efficient workflow on construction sites while maintaining safety protocols. Collaborate with team members on schematic interpretation and fabrication processes for customized solutions. Requirements Proven experience in construction trades such as carpentry (including trim and framing), masonry, roofing, plumbing or electrical work. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment relevant to various trades. Experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of safety procedures and protocols. Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining physical stamina for demanding tasks. Familiarity with restoration industry practices including mold remediation and water damage restoration is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in finishing work such as caulking, plastering, siding installation, flooring installation or tile laying. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and read technical schematics accurately. $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
