Sleep Lab Technician 1000 Cowles Clinic Way, Greensboro, GA 30642 Full-time Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Sleep Technician to join our team in providing exceptional care in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting sleep studies, monitoring patients during their sleep, and ensuring accurate data collection to assist in the evaluation of sleep-related issues. This role is crucial in helping patients achieve better sleep health and overall well-being. Duties Conduct comprehensive sleep studies in accordance with established protocols. Monitor patients throughout the night, recording vital signs and observing physiological responses. Perform diagnostic evaluations, including polysomnography, to assess sleep patterns and disorders. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to analyze data and prepare reports on findings. Maintain a clean and organized sleep center environment, ensuring all equipment is properly calibrated and functioning. Educate patients on sleep hygiene practices and the importance of proper sleep health. Assist in physical examinations as necessary, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process. Experience Previous experience or training in respiratory therapy or sleep medicine is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential for effective communication and understanding of patient needs. Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques related to sleep disorders is advantageous. Ability to perform physical examinations and monitor vital signs accurately.
