$1.00 Position Overview The Slitter Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the Deacro Slitter to safely deliver the highest quality products at the best efficiency and lowest scrap possible through the use of effective manufacturing methods. Slitter operator personnel report to the Lamination Continuous Improvement Engineer. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Follow all Sealed Air rules and regulations while working safely and utilizing PPE protocol. Work with float to ensure jobs are being cut to meet customer demand Operate the machine safely to obtain a quality product Troubleshot machine issues and involved Plant Maintenance when needed Assist with float or complete setups as needed Ensure the oncoming shift has a clear direction as to how to proceed at turnover Complete and record all quality checks Make sure equipment is properly staffed throughout the shift Send the required information to pack out Follow all special job instructions (SPI's) on paperwork Let Core Cutter know if special needs arise Print pallet labels, fill out documentation, and perform SAP entry (float may assist if available) Perform second-party QC checks for other Operators as needed File job packets and deliver customer sample packets to the PC group as needed Work with Production Control on ways to minimize machine downtime. Attend departmental and safety meetings when scheduled. Other additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications Required:
