Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a positive impact on students' lives as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist providing vital services in a welcoming school environment. This contract opportunity allows you to support a diverse student population, helping them overcome communication challenges and reach their academic potential. Collaborate with teams of passionate educators, engage with families, and utilize your expertise to make meaningful progress with students.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Eligible for, or holding, a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates eager to gain valuable school-based experience Georgia SLP licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Comfortable working with PreK-12th grade students with a range of communication and swallowing disorders Strong organizational and communication skills, with a collaborative approach
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adapt interventions as needed Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and parents to support student goals Participate in IEP meetings and maintain required records in a timely manner Discover the rewards of helping students find their unique voice and thrive in a supportive educational setting.
