Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a positive impact on students' lives while advancing your career as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity offers several openings for SLP-CCCs or Clinical Fellows eager to work in a supportive school environment. You'll play a key role in helping students develop essential communication skills, collaborating closely with educators and families to ensure student growth. Interviews are being scheduled now, with offers anticipated in mid to late June—perfect timing for those ready to transition into a new setting and make a difference from day one.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or completion of CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) Texas licensure or eligibility to obtain state credentials Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required; new graduates and experienced clinicians are welcome
Role Highlights:
Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress Monitor and document students' outcomes, adjusting support strategies as needed Participate in IEP meetings and serve as a resource on speech-language issues for school teams This position is ideal for driven SLPs—both Clinical Fellows and those with their CCC—who are passionate about helping students succeed.
