Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a significant impact supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting. This contract opportunity focuses on empowering learners to achieve their communication goals, working alongside a collaborative team of professionals. The role involves addressing a range of speech and language challenges for students, developing tailored intervention plans, and fostering a supportive environment for growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current state SLP license or eligibility for certification ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans Deliver direct and consultative therapy services for students across grade levels Document progress and maintain accurate records in line with school and district policies Engage in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student success Provide resources, strategies, and training for teachers and caregivers Stay updated with best practices and participate in ongoing professional development Enjoy the satisfaction of meaningful work in a supportive school environment, where your expertise is valued and every day brings new opportunities to make a difference in a child's life.
