Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embrace a rewarding contract opportunity as a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist working with a diverse K-6 student population. This specialized position focuses on supporting approximately 25-30 students, primarily with speech needs, and also some dual diagnoses. Your expertise will foster communication skills and enhance student success within a dynamic educational environment.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Valid Pennsylvania SLP license Fluency in both English and Spanish highly preferred, to serve a bilingual community Background in executive functioning strategies, social learning support, and interventions for selective mutism is valued Familiarity with IEPWriter and Synergy platforms is a plus Prior school-based SLP experience is desired
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech-language services for K-6 students in both individual and group settings Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to tailor interventions and ensure student progress Conduct assessments and maintain thorough records in compliance with state and district guidelines Offer support for executive functioning, social pragmatics, and selective mutism as needed within the caseload
Role Details:
Work 2 days per week (ideally Tuesday and Thursday) School day runs from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with direct instruction between 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM Caseload is manageable and focused, providing quality time with each student and opportunities to see meaningful student growth If you're ready to make a positive impact in a supportive school setting while utilizing your bilingual skills and expertise, take the next step and apply today.
