Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a vital educational setting and make a lasting impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students' communication and academic growth. This full-time contract role runs from August 7, 2026, through May 27, 2027. You'll work onsite in a collaborative school environment near the New Orleans area, providing essential services according to the school calendar. With dedicated hours Monday through Friday, you'll have structured days to focus on your students' progress and be part of a mission-driven team. Ideal candidates will meet the following qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active state licensure (or eligibility) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience supporting children or adolescents in educational settings preferred Passion for advocating for students' communication and social needs Successful completion of drug screening and fingerprinting as required by the district and agency Primary responsibilities include: Conducting assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs) Providing direct speech and language therapy to students across assigned schools and age groups Collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff to foster students' success Documenting progress, maintaining records, and participating in IEP meetings Adhering to district policies, timelines, and state regulations Support your own growth and work-life balance with structured hours and the rewarding opportunity to help students unlock their voices.
