Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Empower students and support educational success by providing speech-language services within a dynamic school setting near Mechanicsville, VA. As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a contract basis, you'll work collaboratively with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to help students reach their communication goals. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong knowledge of assessment tools, individualized education plan (IEP) development, and evidence-based intervention strategies tailored for school-aged children. You'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact, fostering improved communication skills and confidence in students from diverse backgrounds.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship candidates encouraged to apply Prior school-based experience preferred, but not required Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to engage, motivate, and support students of varying abilities
Key Responsibilities:
